Story Line
In Snake Snap, you are a snake that
is always hungry- for emeralds.
Unfortunately, those tasty emeralds
are not so easy to get- you have to
fight through narrow labyrinths or
prevail against the nastiest creatures,
only to obtain some tiny
diamond. Some treasures are even
locked up behind doors and other
hard-to-overcome mechanisms.
But not all hope is lost: there are
some nice goodies such as dynamite
to be found to get rid of those annoying
monsters, or to blast through some walls.
With increasing game level, the
difficulty level increases accordingly-
you will encounter more
monsters, green slime, and other
obstacles.
Before you may leave a game level
you must have collected a certain
number of emeralds (the remaining
amount is displayed at the bottom
of the screen).
At the end of each completed level,
the game state is saved to the local
storage of your device or browser so you
may continue the game later.

How to Play (Touch Screen)
You can move the snake by dragging your finger anywhere on the screen.
To collect diamonds, dynamite,
etc., just move the snake onto the
item. You may switch levers that
way, too.
You can put down and activate explosives by tapping on the explosives icon in the status bar.
Drop blockers - in order to block monsters, water,
etc. - by tapping the blocker icon in the status bar (it's the brown thingy next to the explosives icon).
You may leave the current level by pressing the Replay or X-button at the top-left of the screen.
You can zoom in and out using the pinch-and-zoom gesture or tapping onto the magnifying glass icons.

How to Play (Keyboard)
You can move the snake with the
cursor keys.
To collect diamonds, dynamite,
etc., just move the snake onto the
item. You may switch levers that
way, too.
You can put down and activate explosives
with the (CTRL)-key or (SPACE)-bar.
Blockers-to block monsters, water,
etc.- place with the (ALT)-key.
You may leave the current level at
any time with the (ESC)-key (use-
ful if the situation is hopeless).
You can zoom in and out using the + and - keys.

A Few Hints...
Each game level has been carefully
designed and tested- that means
it is possible to complete them, even if it does
not look like it at first. So
don't give up- and think!!
Always pay attention to the status
bar at the bottom of the screen-
what do you have available? Then,
use it wisely!

Other Ideas
- blast more than one monster at a
time.
- Use air bottles to cross water!
- Sometimes, turn levers on, too.
